Fundraising in memory from your memorial website

If you have lost a loved one and wish to commemorate their life through the positive act of fundraising for a Charity close to your heart or theirs, then you might consider creating a Tribute Fund. All MuchLoved Tributes allow this with a fundraising-in-memory facility which allows you to operate a Tribute Fund as part of your memorial. The Tribute Fund can be used to process direct online donations (via credit-card or paypal) and can also be used to record pledges, or offline donations made as cheques or cash.

If you do not already have a Tribute to your loved one

Simply create a memorial for your loved one and when prompted choose to donate to the charity of your choice, if the charity is not already listed on our system then please follow the links to get in touch with us and we will add the charity of your choice.

If you have already created a Tribute to your loved one

Visit your Tribute and log in, in the bottom right corner of the screen select the link to Settings. From here choose the Donation Settings section and select which charity you wish to raise funds for. Your memorial will still appear as before but will have an additional Tribute Fund section where visitors can donate to the charity you are raising in memoriam funds for.

If you run or work for a Charity that wishes to operate a service offering Tribute Funds to your members or supporters, then you can visit the www.fundraisinginmemory.org site for a host of information on setting up an in-memoriam Tribute Fund scheme cheaply, effectively and immediately. Using the service means your charity does not need to get bogged down with the administrative headaches associated with an in-memory-giving scheme, such as processing or collecting Gift Aid as this is all done for you, allowing you to focus on the good work you do and providing additional funds to help you do more.
