John died from aggressive fibrous lung disease on 23rd May 2012 in hospital in Exeter. He was seriously ill for only a month or so but had had symptoms but no firm diagnosis for about two years . This fund has been set up in loving memory of our Father Salvatore Fragola. By raising money for the British Lung Foundation we are hoping that more research can be done to understand the causes of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, and hopefully one day find a cure. Thank you for your support.
Where do I start..... John was a wonderful husband dad and grandad, and his family was all he needed. By his own admission he was a stubborn sod, but we loved him and wouldn't change a thing about him. He was taken from us far too early in March 2013 after being diagnosed with COPD 18 months earlier.
