This site is a tribute to Sue Howard. She is much loved and will always be remembered.Sue spent three weeks at The Prince of Wales Hospice after being diagnosed with terminal cancer. The care she received allowed her to keep smiling right through to the end. We are very, very grateful.

This site is a tribute to Linda Padgett. She is much loved and will always be remembered.Linda was brought up in Wakefield and we married in October 1983. We had two boys, Jonathan and Simon and moved to Pontefract in 1990. Linda was a local childminder and she looked after many local children until we took over the Big Top Play Centre in 2003.

Geoff was born and lived in Pontefract from 1924. Worked as a Fitter all his life at South Yorkshire Motors Ltd. Well known for playing the saxophone and played in a dance band for many years. Loved his music and cricket. Married to the late Margaret with one daughter Christine and son in law Allan.
Des Bate
1972 - 2017
This site is a tribute to Des Bate, who was born on May 09, 1972. He is much loved and will always be remembered.Des became ill in January 2017 with a chest infection. After a few tests and scans, Des was diagnosed with renal cancer which had spread everywhere. He rapidly became ill and was admitted into the hospice for help with his care.
